Alacritech® Accelerators, also referred to as TCP Offload Engines (TOE) Network Interface Cards (TNICs), are designed to provide Microsoft Windows servers with hardware acceleration for TCP and iSCSI-based I/O and remove the overhead of network protocol processing.

Alacritech TNIC products benefit all Microsoft Windows network applications and services, including file services, backup applications, and iSCSI storage. Alacritech iSCSI Accelerators are similar to Alacritech Network Accelerators, but only move network protocol processing for iSCSI storage to the Alacritech iSCSI Accelerator. They are the only iSCSI accelerators to enable failover and link aggregation for scalability across multiple adapters, and in-band support for iSCSI management protocols.
